So far we've done extremely well.....
We won the audience choice award at the Garden State Film Festival, so thanks to anyone who went and voted..... www.gsff.org/winners.htm
We broke a couple records at the Tampa Festival of the Moving Image(most attended movie ever) We were the first movie there to have a second show added and sold them both out, which we also won the Audience choice award.
At the Bare Bones Festival last night in Oklahoma barebonesfilmfest00.tripod.com/in...tml we won Best Picture, Best Comedy, Best Cast, and Best Lead Actor.
We still have a couple more, including the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival www.nyfilmvideo.com/index.html We will be showing there on May 7th, Screen 6 at the Village East Cinemas, and we are also an invitee to the Sunscreen Festival here in Florida(this is actually a pretty prestigious one) www.sunscreenfilmfestival.com/sch...html and will be showing on Saturday May 6, at 6pm. So anyway, it's only festivals, and we're not making any money yet, but it's fun and it seems like we're gettign better and maybe one day people will say..."yeah, I remember Gene..." and it'll be for a good reason, haha.

It is an existential film called, "Wrestles with Larkin"...Na seriously that is good...If won the hearts over in the great state of Oklahoma, you can make it anywhere....Middle AMerica is the true test. -

I was thinking about writing about some dirtbag slob that goes to a nudie bar, but then I thought, that's not really a stretch, so I thought about making everyone a dirtbag and making it the worst nudie bar in the country. Ther are so many possibilities.....Lap dances by pregnant strippers who are gassy.......Strippers needing a dialysis machine for their grandma, so they get tipped with aluminum pull tabs instead of money....and so on and so on. It's really fun to write so far, it just might take a little doing to get funded.....but we'll see.
