Yeah that was funny. Remember when you saw the most random thing when you were alone looking for Newts near the rifelry range?

both were classics, Remember when the crazy nighttime lunatic counselors that I hung out with brought Joey Stanginelli into your bunk, asleep, naked, and wrapped in a wet towel and when he woke up the next morning had 102 temperature?

        Funniest story,
The time that hick Moe had to watch over the camp went to his pick-up and pointed his gun at me, wait that wasn't funny.
That guy was a prick, Scott, what the hell was his name.

Hey remember when Liz Address fell through the floor- or Laurie Rudin- nuff said. Scott at what year did our camp add the " Open Hearts/ Open Doors" prgram for special needs campers... was it when they let the Yorkers in?

Well it seems that even in the very old 70's days there were always a few that fit that category, but they were the minority. There were the Grabovs, and later Jason (Froggy) Forman, along with others. It may have been about the Yorkers time though that the door swung open wider and more came in that by the end camp needed so much medication and that was just to keep the counselors sane.

Scott Hodes was once going to spread to the camp that I got fired for getting Trilby pregnant when I went to my Orientation for Hofstra my first year as a counselor

Suzie, i'm surprised i beat you on this one. I have to say one of the funniest was sitting on the porch in the last bunk and actually hearing Andy Kohut run into the dumpster. Sorry Andy.

Suzie I still say that convincing you to sleep in Roger's bed and him almost kicking you in the face was a hilarious moment. Also when we had a Fake-Out, sent the whole camp to the upper diamond and our bunk slept through the whole thing and didn't know about the fake out but everyone thought they were told and got to sleep through it. The You Leave Tonight is a Moe all-time classic. Also when Moe corrected Joe about basketball being his career and not hockey and Joe quickly responded, "I mean before the accident."

That fakeout was the greatest. I cant believe not one person in our bunk woke up and heard that. You would think someone wouldve, but NO!!

Roger and I were the only ones awake and Tammy was trying to track down Moe Levine in the woods outside our bunk where he was lost. How many nights did that bunk wake up from the screaming?

Moe qout #21 used whenever he had to pick up trash and would threaten to close the canteen. Usually followed or preceeded by a name of a child that went around with him in the morning to pick up the trash

Michelle, Andy running into the dumpster has to be one of the most classic LNT moments ever. Its definitely top 10. What year was that again?

Andy, DR, and I were talking about that recently. So funny. His face after that was Out of control.

Remember when we (kitchen boys) had to move rocks in the creek behind Ronnie and Moe's house. Tony Duncan was like this is alittle Rock Stew, I was like the only stew is that this is STEW-PID.
I think Freedman almost fell over laughing.

Josh wasnt that a topic of dicussion yesterday- fifty cents, is fantastic, but I have to say that tone of the funniest moment for me was that dumb CHinese Mask, who the hell wore that thing?

Howdy and Moe always loved that mask the most. Convincing Moe that we were going to the library and took out books on the Ming Dynasty as an excuse to go into Milford and get Chinese food was pretty funny. Especially since Ronne knew what we were doing and put in an order with us.

I feel vindicated to know that there were other;s who started out as campers and became kitchen boys.

Who knew I would become a trend setter?

Rod Dietz was an interesting character..misunderstood as well. I remember when he lost the keys to van and we had to wait at another camp for over 6 hours until we were picked up and brought home.

I remember back in 1989 when a bunch of Rod's Pirates memorabilia was broken. Not sure who the culprit was.

I always felt bad for Rod for taking so much abuse from people. Deep down he really was a good guy.

                                            Strange....misunderstood...but a good guy.

                                              Rog...
I remember the key incident well. I WAS AT CAMP SHOHOLA for 6 hours. Man were we pissed! Ira was the counselor...he just plopped himself under a tree and went to sleep.

It was the Jersey Y Camp not Shohola though...they felt bad for us and fed us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Ira Liss was a good man....lazy as anything...but a good man.

Mike, do you remember the Shawnee-Delaware interview with both of us from 1986? Now that is classic. I would buy that on DVD. You made a nice Howard Cossell.
